George Jordan will lead the Spring 2012

Plus Classes that will be held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Woodbrook Elementary School, 100 Woodbrook Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22901.

 

Angels Needed! Because we are holding classes on two different nights, we really need Virginia Reeler members to step up and show up! At most classes, it's the same members that show up time and time again, showing their commitment to the club and to square dancing. If you have been unable to join us on Wednesday's due to other commitments (we realize it's a big church night), this is the prefect opportunity to help!

 

If you are free on Wednesday nights, please join us a Woodbrook Elementary as we teach our mainstream graduates the Plus calls they need to know.

 

How to get to Woodbrook Elementary: 

 

 

  • From Route 29, turn onto Woodbrook Drive

  • Go through the Stop sign at Brookmere Road

  • Stay on Woodbrook Drive Lane and follow around to the back of the school where the cafeteria is located 

  • Follow this road down between the Jack Jouett School and an open area used for Driver’s Education Training. 

  • The total distance from the stoplight at Route 29 and Woodbrook Drive to the Woodbrook Elementary School parking lot is only about 0.6 miles

Dave Terrell will lead the Spring 2012 Mainstream Classes that will be held on Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Ivy Creek School, 227 Lambs Lane, Charlottesville, VA 22901.

How to get Ivy Creek Elementary: 

 

  • From Hydraulic Road, turn onto Lambs Road

  • Go a couple hundred yards around the end of Albemarle High School

  • Lambs Lane runs behind Albemarle High School

  • Stay on Lambs Lane past Greer Elementary and turn left immediately in front of the Jack Jouett School (There are signs for the various school facilities) 

  • Follow this road down between the Jack Jouett School and an open area used for Driver’s Education Training. 

  • The road winds a bit, but ultimately goes down a big hill and terminates in the parking lot of the School.

  • The total distance from the stoplight at Hydraulic Road and Lambs Road to the Ivy Creek parking lot is only about 0.6 miles.
